Podium Entertainment LLC is a film production company in Burbank, CA, founded in 2018 by Josh Wallace.
Josh began working on movies at the age of 11 after finding a casting notice for an independent film shooting near his hometown of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He auditioned through 4 rounds of callbacks, landed the leading role, and has been acting, writing, producing, and directing since.
He holds a BA from Brown University, where he majored in Theatre Arts and Performance Studies while studying economics and screenwriting on the side. Currently, he’s producing and directing his feature script Golden Boy.

Josh, the Producer
Josh has produced and directed two 48-Hour Film Project short films and written, produced, and performed his own solo show called Man Up!.​​

Additional on-set experience comes from working as a production assistant on the Emmy-nominated season 21 of Top Chef, E!'s second season of House of Villains, an upcoming show for the Discovery Channel, and on commercials for brands like Nike, WhatsApp, and Google.
To make the props for Golden Boy, Josh reads the instructions on a spray paint can while enjoying the temperate Wisconsin winter night.
Josh compiles the Golden Boy shooting schedule binders in the carefully curated production space of the basement floor.
Josh has read hundreds of pages of producing and film financing manuals, including The Independent Film Producer’s Survival Guide and 43 Ways to Finance Your Feature Film: A Comprehensive Analysis of Film Finance.

He takes pride in being an early Hire Survivors Hollywood Pledge Taker, promising to "build a safer, more equitable industry by giving opportunities, auditions, and interviews to survivors and Silence Breakers" and to "never retaliate against anyone for coming forward about sexual violence."
Josh is also a regular visitor to EcoSet, an environmental production resource which recirculates production and event materials back into the community. Many of Golden Boy's production supplies and creative materials are recycled.
